Calculators

Students who wish to use calculators during exams for First Year courses in the Faculty of Arts and Science must use a machine approved by the Faculty. The Faculty policy on calculators can be found at http://www.queensu.ca/calendars/artsci/Regulation_11_____Use_of_Calculators.html.

The Casio 991 model does not require a sticker - it is pre-approved. You can purchase the pre-approved Casio 991 from the Campus Bookstore.

However, there are some alternatives for students from other Faculties and Schools. These are:

• Calculators with a Blue Commerce approval sticker
• Calculators with a Gold Applied Science approval sticker
